Olivia is ONE!!

My baby turned one today. She had a great day, full of pictures and balloons and cake! (-: She is 29 inches tall and 21.6 lbs. She is starting to wear a Size 4 diaper and wears a 3 1/2 shoe and 12 mos in clothing, some 18 mos too! She can say "ba ba" (bottle) and "da da" (daddy)...she lights up and claps everytime she sees us!

Olivia's 1st birthday.......

In one week my baby Olivia will be one. Where has the time gone? It is so sad, especially since she is my last baby. We are not planning a big party, just going out to eat (maybe....) or we may bring take out home...and then cake and a few presents with just us, the immediate family. My inlaws who live 40 minutes away will probably not want to come and my parents live 3 hrs away, so it is hard for them to just pop in on a Tuesday for a birthday party. I work the weekends still, so a weekend party is not do-able. I had planned to order a cake for her from a local bakery. I made Bella's cake in June if you recall & while it was awesome, it took me ALL day long to do it. I am not really wanting to do that again. Yet, the bakery thing seems like it may not be in the cards for me! First I went to the bakery on Thursday last week...there was a sign saying that they had to go out of town unexpectedly and would be closed for 2 days. So, I returned yesterday...ooops. They are closed on Mondays! Ugh! Now I am thinking that maybe I will just make my own cake, just not as big or elaborate as Bella's was. I really wanted an owl cake. Pink. Brown. Flowery. I don't know if I want fondant again...it was costly. And doesn't even taste that great. But they do make the cake look cute! I have been combing Pinterest for ideas. I have several. I just don't know.... Ahhh! Decisions, decisions!

It's beginning to look a lot like Fall!!!!!!

With 2 days in a row here in NC with no A/C & open windows, I have to admit, I am getting a tiny bit excited about the upcoming Fall & Holiday season! Which makes me want to smell the SMELLS of fall! Just this morning as I took my son to school, he said to me "Mom, it smells like Halloween!" Ahhh! Isn't that awesome? Someone was burning something somewhere & it DID smell like Halloween, like FALL!!!! Which then leads me to Scentsy! I know I have posted on here once before about it...I recently decided to become a consultant because I love it so much!!!! I love how it makes my house smell so wonderful! And this Saturday the 15th, Scentsy's Christmas/Holiday Scents will be available...think Pumpkin Marshmallow, Christmas Cottage, Frosted Ginger Cookie......as well as the Halloween & Christmas warmers! Scentsy!

About 2 weeks ago I signed up to become a Scentsy Consultant! This is VERY out of character for me, but I do love me some Scentsy and when I spend all that money on Scentsy products, why not get it at a discount and or free AND earn commission on what I sell to others? I had a launch party this past Friday at my house & it was not horrible! LOL! I have exceeded my expectations as far as how much I have sold and I am getting a lot of great producst for next to nothing for Christmas Gifts etc!
