No Femara for me.....

Ugh! I am looking forward to my July 1st appointment with the RE to see about getting REALLY high tech with the whole baby-making thing, but for now, that is all I have to look forward to. Apparently, not only did the many follicles that developed last month NOT work out, but for kicks, one decided to hang around and keep growing...so now, I have my first (known) cyst...a nice whopping 31mm on the right side. I knew what it was when I saw it on the U/S this morning, but for the heck of it, asked the tech if that was my ovary...one can hope....she said "no" and quickly scrolled away to where my ovary was...never did say "THAT was a big fat cyst". The nurse mentioned it afterwards, when I went to the desk to give them "a phone # where we can call you at later today"....but acted like it was no big deal & said "would you like us to call in your Femara to your pharmacy or would you like to pick it up here?" I opted for the "my pharmacy option". At 2:30, after picking up my prescription (b/c I already had available refills there & knew it....despite the fact that they never called the prescription in) I get a call saying "oops...the cyst is too big to proceed with medications this month, so just call us on Day 1 of your next cycle" Oh!!! THAT is why they never called in my prescription! Ooops! So, I promptly drove through the McDonald's drive-thru (ok, so I turned in as soon as the nurse said hello...I KNEW it was bad news) & ordered a large M&M's McFlurry. And I ate it all! So, this month, we just do the old fashioned stuff....and wait for evidence that we once again failed.....

Fun day riding the train.....

I had a rare Sunday off from work, so we all headed to the waterpark & then downtown on the lightrail train to hang out & eat dinner. Here are some pictures we took while waiting for the train to come back....

Savannah has graduated the 5th grade!

Well, my baby girl is growing up FAST!! Earlier this week she graduated from the 5th grade & will be starting middle school in the fall! Unbelievable! She made the honor roll & was awarded a "Presidential Academic Fitness" award as well! Here are some pictures from her big day...one of her by herself, one with her friends & one with her & her favorite teacher, Mr. Green:
